This amendment has been prepared jointly by IEC technical committee 35: Primary cells and batteries and subcommittee 21A: Secondary cells and batteries containing alkaline or other non-acid electrolytes, of IEC technical committee 21: Secondary cells and batteries.
Full information on the voting for the approval of this amendment can be found in the report on voting indicated in the above table.
The committee has decided that the contents of this amendment and the base publication will remain unchanged until the stabiity date indicated on the IEC website under “http://webstore.iec.ch” in the data related to the specific publication. At this date, the publication will be
reconfirmed,
withdrawn,
replaced by a revised edition, or
amended.
Replace, in point (i), “Mass” with “Mass of cell or battry”.Replace, in point f(v), “Model numbers” with “Cell or battery model number or, alternatively, if the test summary is established for a product containing a cell or battery, the product model number” .
Add, at the end of Subclause 6. 8, the following new Note:
NOTE It is understood that a test report summary may contain data of a range of models, provided they are of the type tested as descrbed in 5.1.
